at the Southern Baptist Convention
Golden
Gate Baptist Theological Seminary
Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary's president, Jeff
Iorg, will be the featured speaker at the seminary's annual Alumni
and Friends Luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, in Rooms
208-209 at the Indiana Convention Center.
Iorg's report will include an overview of plans for the seminary
through 2010. In addition, the seminary's distinguished alumni
award will be presented.
Tickets, at $10 per person, can be ordered by calling 1-888-442-8709.
Tickets also will be available at the seminary's booth in the
SBC exhibit hall.
Midwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary
Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary will host its annual
Alumni & Friends Luncheon at noon Wednesday, June 11, at the
Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, in Marriott Ballrooms 7-10 on
Level 2, across the street from the convention center.
MBTS President R. Philip Roberts will be the featured speaker.
Information also will be shared about the seminary's "Building
for the Future!" capital campaign.
Tickets, at $20 per person, are available through Midwestern's
institutional advancement office, either by phone at 1-877-414-3720
toll-free or e-mail, IAoffice@mbts.edu. Reservations are required
by Friday, June 6. Please include complete names of all attendees
and your contact information. Reserved tickets can be picked up
at Midwestern's booth in the SBC exhibit hall on Tuesday, June
10.
New Orleans Baptist Theological
Seminary
New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary's annual Alumni &
Friends Luncheon will be a time to reconnect with friends and
hear the latest news from campus.
The June 11 luncheon will be in the Indiana Convention Center's
Sagamore Ballrooms 5-7 from noon to 2 p.m. following the Wednesday
morning session of the SBC annual meeting.
NOBTS President Chuck Kelley will report on seminary activities
over the past year and on new initiatives to be launched by the
seminary during the coming year. Kelley also will present the
seminary's distinguished alumni awards.
Tickets $12 each before June 1, $15 after June 1
are on sale by mail. They also will be available at the NOBTS
booth.
To purchase a ticket before the SBC, mail a check payable to
NOBTS to New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, Attention:
Alumni Relations, 3939 Gentilly Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70126.
Tickets ordered from the office after June 1 may be picked up
at the seminary's booth in the exhibit hall.
Southeastern Baptist Theological
Seminary
Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary President Daniel
L. Akin will be the featured speaker at the 2008 National Alumni
and Friends Luncheon, to be held at noon following the close of
the convention's morning session on Wednesday, June 11.
Akin will give an update on the seminary's mission and lay
out his vision for Southeastern's future growth.
The luncheon will be held in the Indiana Convention Center's
Sagamore 4 Ballroom, Level 2. The cost is $20 and anyone is welcome
to attend. Tickets can be purchased online through the seminary
Web site at www.sebts.edu.

The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary will hold its luncheon
at the annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention in Indianapolis
at 12:30 p.m., June 11, in the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown,
Ballrooms 1-5 on Level 2.
Seminary President R. Albert Mohler Jr., will be the keynote
speaker.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $24 at the door. Tickets may
be obtained by calling 1-800-626-5525, ext. 4143. Credit cards,
check, or cash will be accepted.
Southwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary's National Alumni
Luncheon will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, in Sagamore
Ballrooms 1-3 in the Indiana Convention Center.
Southwestern President Paige Patterson will present the seminary's
annual report and the 2008 distinguished alumni awards.
Tickets are $10 per person before June 1. They may be purchased
online by going to http://community.swbts.edu and clicking on
"Upcoming events"; by calling toll-free 1-877-GO SWBTS
(467-9287); or by mailing a request to Southwestern's Alumni Relations
Office at P.O. Box 22480, Fort Worth, TX 76122-0480. Tickets after
June 1 will be $15 per person and will be available for purchase
at Southwestern's booth in the exhibit hall.
